Free-blown Colorless Blown Glass Covered Sugar Bowl, attributed to Thomas Cains, South Boston Flint Glass Works or Phoenix Glass Works Boston, first quarter 19th century, domed cover with folded rim on bowl with applied medial band with a chain motif, rough pontil, (minor imperfections), ht. 5 1/4, dia. 4 7/8 in. minute chips on cover knop edge, a few unobtrusive scratches to bowl interior.
