Federal Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Sideboard, probably Massachusetts, c. 1800-10, with central cockbeaded drawer above arched crossbanded opening and tambour doors flanked by drawers, on square tapering legs, old surface, replaced wooden pulls, (imperfections), ht. 41 1/2, case wd. 63, dp. 20 3/4 in. there is evidence of two-post brass under the wood pulls (we have removed one pull), there are losses to the cockbeading on each of the deep drawers at their upper lefts (each about 5 in long) and a chip to the long drawer cockbeading, there are scratches to the top and staining, and veneer chips to the top edge at front, and right side deep drawer, general scratching to the legs and sides (though not bad), and a scrolled gallery has been added at one point (we removed it).
