Gilt-brass and Marble Astral Lamp, America, early 19th century, wheel-cut acid-finish shade with floral and fruiting vine supported on brass ring above a fluted column on a brass-mounted square, stepped marble base, with prisms, electrified, (imperfections), ht. 30 1/2 in. Converted to a three-socket fixture, top rim of shade ground, both rims with several minute chips, minor chips to marble edges.
