Chippendale Carved Mahogany Oxbow Slant-lid Desk, Massachusetts, c. 1770-80, old replaced brasses, refinished, ht. 44, wd. 42 1/2, dp. 22 in. There is a full-length strip of mahogany at the back of the top, about 1.5" wide. There is a valance in the interior that needs regluing. Some of the interior drawers are renailed. Some of the large drawers have patching to the bottoms and runners.
