Joseph Cornell (American, 1903-1972) Untitled (Derby Hat), 1972, edition of 150, published by Brooke Alexander Editions, New York. Signed with the artist's estate stamp l.r., numbered "120/125" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Kristina Wasserman Gallery, Providence, on the reverse. Color heliogravure on paper, plate size 13 1/4 x 10 1/4 in. (33.5 x 26.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 2 1/4 inches or more with deckled edges, not examined out of frame. A copy of the book "A Joseph Cornell Album" by Dore Ashton, published by Da Capo Press, Inc., 1974, accompanies the lot.
