Gouache, paper collage, and graphite on paperboard, 8 3/4 x 12 1/4 in. (22.2 x 31.1 cm), unframed. Condition: Tear l.l., paper loss u.r., minor foxing. Provenance: From the artist to his son, Maxfield Parrish, Jr., to the present owner by family descent. N.B. The advertisement was one of two commissioned by the Genesee Pure Food Company in the early 1920s. We wish to thank Alma Gilbert-Smith for her kind assistance with cataloguing the lot.
