Condition: Tears u.l. and l.l., losses u.c. Two tears, with the largest to l.l. quadrant, m-shaped and approx. 3/4 x 1 1/2 in. at extreme height and width; second tear to the u.l. quadrant approx. 1/8 x 1/2 in. Abrasions to all four edges, with wear to tacking edges, particularly u.r. and u.l. corners. Losses primarily to periphery with the largest area approx. 1/2 x 3/4 in. u.c.. Two surface abrasions--one to u.l. quadrant approx. 2 1/2 in. with small dent to canvas; the other to l.l. quadrant, approx. 6 in. length. The work may benefit from a gentle cleaning.
