J. Clayton Bright (American, b. 1946) Resting Cow Stamped and dated "BRIGHT © 1984" on the reverse. Bronze with green patina, 5 x 14 x 7 1/2 in. (12.7 x 35.6 x 19.1 cm). Condition: Surface grime. Verdigirs patina, with two spots of glue residue on the cow's back, each 1 in. diameter. Patina worn at hoof of back left leg, inside of the right foreleg, and along neck by the foreleg. Occasional minor scratches and wear commesurate with age of the work.
