School of Guido Reni (Italian, 1575-1642) Paris Receiving the Golden Apple from Mercury Unsigned, inscribed with an accounting list (possibly a painting's inventory) on the Ink and wash on laid paper, sheet size 10 1/2 x 7 7/8 in. (26.8 x 20.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Small tears, creasing, staining, rippling, foxing, with paper residue to the reverse. Paper residue from previous backing sheet to perimeters verso. Approximately three small tears to l.l. and l.r. quadrant, with the longest measuring approximately 1 in. length.
