Provenance: Old Master & British Pictures, Christie's South Kensington, April 23, 2009, Lot 110. Moderate craquelure throughout; retouch to craquelure throughout but predominately to l.l. and l.r. quadrant; loss/abrasion to l.l. quadrant measuring approx. 3/4 x 1/8 in. and to the l.r. quadrant (with retouch) measuring approx. 1/2 x 1/4 in.
