Emile Albert Gruppé (American, 1896-1978) Morning Gloucester Harbor Signed "Emile A. Gruppé" l.r., titled, signed, and dated "...1933" on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 20 x 16 in. (50.9 x 40.3 cm), framed. Condition: Mild surface grime and varnish discoloration. Provenance: Purchased from the artist in 1933, then by family descent. Partially yellowed varnish, would benefit from a gentle cleaning. No additional condition issues to report.
