Patrick Webb (American, b. 1955) Battle II: Evening Fight , 1985 Signed "P WEBB" l.r., identified on a label from Alpha Gallery, Boston, affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 36 x 52 in. (91.4 x 132.1 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Provenance: A private New England collection. N.B. Webb shows extensively in Provincetown, Massachusetts, including a 25-year retrospective at the Provincetown Art Museum, and teaches at the Pratt Institute in Brookline, New York. Subtle varnish inconsistencies, no additional condition issues to report.
