Jacques Villon (French, 1875-1963) Croquis de plage, mère et enfant, 1907, second state of two, edition of 15 (Ginestet & Pouillon, E. 179). Signed "Jacques Villon" in pencil l.r., and signed in the plate. Etching with aquatint on laid paper, plate size 7 7/8 x 5 7/8 in. (20.0 x 14.7 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 3/4 inches or more with deckled edges, subtle soiling. The sheet is a heavy laid paper, and measures 10 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches. There is subtle soiling to the sheet, more so to the verso.
