Signed "Jacques Villon" in pencil l.r., inscribed "Essai" in pencil l.l. Drypoint on paper with a partial watermark, plate size 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. (14.6 x 20.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1 inch with deckled edges, soiling.
