Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., dated and with publisher within the plate, numbered "181" in pencil l.l., artist's printing press dry stamp l.l. Etching and aquatint with stencil coloring on paper, plate size 18 5/8 x 35 1/4 in. (47.2 x 89.5 cm), framed. Condition: Handling creases, not examined out of frame. Sheet size 24 11/16 x 38 1/4 in. (62.6 x 97.4 cm). Margins as follows: 1 3/4 in. left side, 1 3/8 in. right side, 2 1/2 in. top, and 3 3/8 in. bottom. Numbered on the reverse "131-1C" u.r. corner. Hinged to window mat reverse. Repaired tears to margins as follows: u.l. margin 3/4 in (2.0 cm), top margin 3.4 in. (2.0 cm). Scattered subtle handling creases, with the two most pronounced on the left hand side measuring 1 in. and 2 in.
