Rockwell Kent (American, 1882-1971) Big Baby, alternatively titled Greenland Mother , 1933, edition of 150 (Burne Jones, 101). Signed "Rockwell Kent" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l. Wood engraving on paper, image size 4 1/2 x 5 7/8 in. (11.4 x 14.7 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Sheet is sandwiched between window mat and backing, which have been glued together firmly. Unable to open without damae to the mat. The print is possibly laid down on the backing, since it is very flat, but this could not be fully confirmed without prying open the mat.. Toning to sheet.
