Art Deco Agate and Diamond Pendulette, Cartier, France, the engine-turned gold-tone metal dial with Roman numeral indicators and rose-cut diamond hands, enamel bezel, corners set with rose-cut diamonds with enamel borders, within an agate frame, enclosing European Watch and Clock Co. 15-jewel movement no. 167632, stand no. 1079 and 400, case back no. 1079 and 2097, 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 in., signed Cartier on the dial and European Watch and Clock Co. Inc. France on the stand, reverse engraved H.C. May 27, 1925; in original fitted box. Note: For a similar pendulette, see Le Temps de Cartier , Jader Barracca et al., p. 108. A couple of minor nicks to agate, not obtrusive, minor loss to numerals and signature on face, setting. Winding stem is very stiff, and does not wind. Reverse monogramed H.C. May 27, 1925. Box with age typical wear. NOT RUNNING.
