Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) Eider Drake, 1918, published state, edition of 31 (Paff, 136). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l., numbered "11" in pencil l.r., identified on a label from the Gage Gallery, Cleveland, affixed to the backing. Drypoint on paper, plate size 6 x 7 1/8 in. (15.2 x 18.3 cm), framed. Condition: Unobtrusive toning and mat burn, subtle cockling/handling creases, two pinpoint-size indentations into the image near the lower edge, not examined out of frame.
