Antique High-karat Gold and Hardstone Cameo, and Hardstone Intaglio Necklace, designed as a fringe of five cameos and four intaglios finely carved in various agates, each depicting a Classical figure within a beaded frame, suspended from beaded circular links with enamel flowers, the cameo clasp depicting beasts, lg. 15 3/8 in., French import stamps. Flower petals with areas of enamel loss, down to metal in most places. Each link has a jump ring, possibly lacking more fringe, jump rings not obtrusive when worn. Stones with very minor wear, helmeted figure in cameo, third from left, with minor and insignificant nick to bust. Minor wear with age otherwise overall very good.
