Adams, New York, second quarter 19th century, half-pint pear-form vessel with flared rim with anthemion leaf border, S-shaped handle with volute and spur at upper end, flared foot rim decorated with repeating flower sprig design, "ED" monogram, dated "Jan'y 1st 1842," (dents and small repair on base), ht. 3 3/4 in., approx. 3.5 troy oz. Tiny sharp dent on base edge and a few more subtle dent on base, with a repair/reinforcement on base under handle terminal
