Navajo Yei Weaving, c. 1920s woven in natural and synthetic dyed homespun wool, with three stylized dancers holding rattles, forked sticks, and six arrowheads, 58 1/2 x38 1/2 in. Provenance: Collected by Katherine Durham Dorn while she was a tutor to the daughters of Charles and Madge Newcomb. She lived with the Newcombs at the Crystal Trading Post during her tenure there. This would have been in the mid 1920s.
