Continental Silver Tower-form Besamim Box Spice Container, likely Berlin, mid-late 19th century, turret with pennant over rectangular body with filigree sides, small door, and small pennants to upper corners, on cylindrical stem with reeded knop, and reeded, domed foot, ht. 8 3/4 in., approx. 3.4 troy oz. area of foot below knop with extensive compression restorations, including soldering and small patches to underside. indistinct mark, with other marks possibly obliterated by repairs to foot. overall minor age wear.
