Two Small Continental Silver Tower-form Besamim Box Spice Containers, mid-late 19th century, one Berlin, Eifort, maker, with rectangular filigree body, knopped stem, based engraved with Hebrew inscription and presentation name, ht. 6 7/8, the other possibly German, with milled patera and leaf turret, filigree body, cylindrical stem, and leaftip base, ht. 7 1/4 in., approx. 4.6 troy oz. total. Berlin: pennants from body removed, with halos of their posts visible to top surface of body. minor breaks and small losses to filigree. the other box lacking pennant from turret, and pennants from top corners lacking, and losses to the tips of these corners where the pennants were broken off/removed. door doesn't fit quite right into body. both with some overall minor age wear.
