German . 800 Silver Tower-form Besamim Box Spice Container, late 19th/early 20th century, turret with pennant, with square body with single door, the upper corners with four smaller pennants, on tapered cylindrical stem, with engraved rustication throughout, domed foot chased and embossed with a band of fruit, ht. 9 3/4 in., approx. 3.5 troy oz. spots of solder evident at join of turret to body, and join of stem to foot. ding to one side of body, small loss at top of pin of one small pennant. wear to base decoration. overall age/usage wear.
