George III Silver Waiter, Dublin, 1772, maker's mark obscured, with gadrooned rim, the edge chased and embossed with patera roundels conjoined by husk swags, on three pad feet, engraved with crest to center, dia. 8 1/4 in., approx. 12 troy oz. old repair at join of one leg. chasing and embossing possibly later? some light surface scratching from overly abrasive cleanser. crest with cleaning wear.
