Calame, with pierced bail handle and serpentine edge with similar glass liner, the body pierced with paterae, drapery, elongated leaftips and fluting, on a beaded circular foot, ht. 5 1/4 in., approx. 4.8 troy oz. weighable silver. Note: A similar basket by the same maker is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Cobalt liner with chips and ground edges with reduced height; marks rubbed; minor denting in spots, no breaks to cut work
