Four Piece Gorham Aesthetic Movement Sterling Tea Set, 1874-76, ovoid teapot, creamer, open sugar, and waste bowl, engraved at shoulder with navette band with anthemion lambrequins, monogrammed, teapot ht. 4 1/8 in., approx. 27.3 troy oz. creamer and sugar with some small body dings. all with some wear to engraving, heaviest to creamer and open sugar. possibly lacquered. teapot, creamer, and open sugar with 1874 date letter. waste bowl with 1876 date letter.
