Attributed to Samuel Hieronymus Grimm (Swiss, 1733-1794) Greenwich Parck Unsigned, titled l. c., inscribed "No. 51 Feb. 4. 95" in ink and "S. H. Grimm/..." pencil in a later hand, and with a collector's stamp on the reverse, identified on a typed label on the frame backing. Ink wash and pencil on paper, 9 1/4 x 6 3/8 in. (23.5 x 16.2 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, mild acid burn; foxing, staining, and tape residue to the reverse. Provenance: Ex collection Sir Bruce Ingram (1877–1963). N.B. A receipt from Frank T. Sabin Art Gallery, London, dated April 25, 1966, accompanies the lot. Hinged to acidic back mat in two places along top edge.
