Italian Rococo Walnut Desk, c. 1765, the top, drawer fronts, and case with string inlay and burl walnut veneers, rectangular top over slide-out writing surface, one long and four short drawers, on cabriole legs ending in hoof feet, ht. 29, wd. 51, dp. 26 in. Top appears to jhave inlay poorly added at either end of center; to cracks running across top; escutcheons replaced (poorly); two legs with repairs. The back of the desk is finished.
