Sevres Bisque Cobalt Decorated Vase, France, fourth quarter 18th century, ovoid-shaped, the domed lid with acorn finial and acanthus leaves, neck with further acanthus leaves, body with central hand-painted medallions of two putti and a landscape garden, and flanked by female bust-form handles, both with applied floral garlands, on flared fluted base on square socle, overglaze blue mark, ht. 17 in. Lid with repairs extensive repairs to rim interior and either end. Scattered minor chips and breaks to applied flowers and loss to gilding.
