Sevres Bisque Cobalt Decorated Vase and Cover, France, fourth quarter 18th century, the domed lid with acorn finial and acanthus leaves, body with central hand-painted medallions of two putti and a landscape garden, and flanked by female heads, both with applied floral garlands, on flared fluted base on square socle, underglaze blue mark, ht. 16 in. Plugged and repaired drilled hole to top of acorn finial, and interior rim of lid. Body with approx. 3 in. hairline crack running from rim down through landscape garden medallion. Minor scattered chips to applied flowers and loss to gilt. Square base with plugged drilled hole.
