Queen Anne Walnut Chest of Drawers, England, early 18th century, the rectangular top with herringbone inlay and thumbmolded edges, over conforming case fitted with two short over three long graduated drawers, all with further herringbone inlay, on bun feet, ht. 37 3/4, wd. 37 1/2, dp. 21 in. The feet appear to be original; overall good with age typcial wear and defects; top right edge with a 2" piece of veneer missing; back right corner of the top edge with 1" piece broken; bottom rail to left side replaced; scattered marks to top surface and with an area of shallow gouges.
