Georgian Bureau/Desk, England, 18th century, the serpentine top with outset front corners over conforming case with fluted stiles and fitted with four long graduated drawers, the top drawer enclosing sliding writing surface, a variety of compartments, and small concealed side drawer with fitted interior, on bracket feet, ht. 32 1/8, wd. 41 3/4, dp. 22 5/8 in. Top good and with age typical defects and wear.; cracks to either end; feet good, one needing mending; handles fit well but don't seem to be period.
