French Ormolu-mounted Hand-painted Commode, with serpentine rouge marble top over bombe case with hinged door painted with interior scene of women listening to musicians, ht. 43 3/4, wd. 39, dp. 16 in. Front right leg lacking ormolu mounting. Craquelure to painted scene. Veneers cleaned up and probably reglued and with minor losses.
