Vienna Porcelain Urn and Cover, Austria, late 19th century, cobalt ground with gilded trim and foliate borders, polychrome enameled figural cartouche to one side signed C. Forster, the reverse with portrait of a classical maiden, underglaze blue beehive mark, ht. 16 1/4 in. In very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. The cover does not fit flush to the vase but all indications show that it is the right cover.
