Four Sunderland Pink Lustre Maritime Theme Transfer-decorated Pottery Plaques, England, 19th century, three rectangular-shaped plaques: one England/France, Crimean War related, with inscription "May They Ever Be United," one depicting the "Mariner's Arms," and one with a ship and "Peace & Plenty" verse, one round with a ship and "Peace & Plenty" verse; all with copper lustre borders, (repaired corners on one, minor rim chips), sizes 7 1/2 x 8 1/2-8 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. Three rectangular-shaped plaques: one England/France, Crimean War related, with inscription "May They Ever Be United"- several unobtrusive approx. 3/4 in. hairlines around "frame" border probably stress related possibly in the making or over time. "Mariner's Arms"- very good condition; ship with "Peace & Plenty" verse-small surface loss to lustre at l.r. coner; round with a ship and "Peace & Plenty"- Very good condition.
