Federal Two-Drawer Work Table, New England, early 19th century, the rectangular top with chamfered underside, above two scratch-beaded drawers, on delicate square tapering legs, brass pulls appear original, original surface, ht. 30 1/4, top wd. 18 3/4, dp. 17 in. Provenance: Virginia Caputo, 1978. The rail above top drawer warped, one pull's plate replaced, drawer with evidence of dividers, evidence of small insect holes on two sides, the top has scattered stains.
