Two Framed Needlework Samplers, both worked in silk threads on a linen ground, the first stitched "Delia Taylor Of Scituate was Born Sunday April The 24 1796/Delia Taylor Work d Her Sample 1807," with three panels of geometric flower designs and rows of alphabets, (toning, fading, stains), 13 1/2 x 8 1/2; the second stitched "REBECCA MACOMBER WAS BORN IN THE YEAR 1787" along with rows of alphabets, (toning, fading, minor stains), 12 1/2 x 8 in., both in later frames.
