Painted Wood and Tin Whirligig Figure, probably New England, c. 1900, the standing figure with deep-set eyes wearing a waistcoat with tails, with white-painted buttons and red trousers, old surface, no stand, ht. 12, wd. 9 1/2 in. One arm with vertical crack around arm at elbow , the other arm with partial crack in same area, there is no stand for this whirligig, there is an old wire attached to the back that was probably used to stabilize it against a wall.
