Chinese Export Porcelain Mandarin-decorated Punch Bowl, mid-19th century, the center and interior and exterior bowl sides with enamel-decorated scenes of Mandarin figures in a courtyard, the rim depicting bats, butterflies, birds, fruit, and flowers, (glaze wear), ht. 5, dia. 11 3/4 in. Glaze wear primarily to the bowl center where some glaze and gilt to the figures and background has worn. Some of the gilding on the borders is not neatly done.
