Manner of Jean Baptiste Greuze (French, 1725-1805) Lot of Two Portraits of Children: Madchen and Knabe Both identified in inscriptions on the frames. Oil on panel, 12 5/8 x 9 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, surface/varnish losses to face and collar, mild scattered surface abrasions, mild wear to edges, surface grime and varnish inconsistencies. Provenance: Descended within the family of the Countess von Platen Hallermund.
