Pieced and Appliqued Cotton Oak Leaf Pattern Quilt, America, late 19th century, hand-stitched quilt composed of nine quatrefoil oak leaf designs in green on a white field, quilted with diamond, floral medallions, and undulating feather border, backed with white cotton, (toning, and large areas of water staining/discolor, small stains, no tears), 88 x 85 in. Sturdy unwashed or barely washed condition, light toning, some light patches/areas (bleached appearing), to background and leaf motifs, about 10 light brown spots or stains, most very small one or two about 3/4 in dia., no holes or fraying detected.
