Pair of Fahua -style Meiping Vases, China, each decorated with raised flowers, rocks, and butterflies, with turquoise and straw glazes on deep purple ground, tall lappets around the base, ht. 12 in. One vase: restoration to top rim. Other vase: small rip chips, approximately 6 inch vertical crack to body, numerous small drill holes surrounding the base one inch from the bottom with associated glazed flaking, loss glaze along foot rim.
