Pair of Gilt-bronze and Cloisonne Elephants, China, decorated with relief tassels and floret harnesses, cloisonne blanket and saddle, surmounted with a double-lotus base holding a flattened hu -shaped vase with dragon and ring handles, each elephant stands on a cloisonne base decorated with lappet and ruyi bands, four-character incised Qianlong mark on base, ht. 10 5/8 in. In very good condition, no evidence of cracks, chips, or restorations.
