Frank Meisler (Israeli, b. 1929) Frog Box . Incised "271/780/frank Meisler/Israel" on the frog's belly. Aluminum with silver and gold plated accents, 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 x 7 in. (including the cigar), on a polished marble base with presentation plaque. Condition: Mild dust and dirt in the interstices. Base measures 4 5/16 x 7 1/2 x 3/4 in. Frog has movable eyes and a detachable cigar in its mouth, and opens to reveal an insect on a spring inside. This work does not have a base.
