Bronze Mirror, China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), of large linghua (water chestnut flower) shape and heavily cast in high relief, the knob surrounded by four phoenixes and four flower baskets in a scrolling flower and tendril reserve, all within a barbed border of small, delicate flowerheads and leafy tendrils, the silvery gilt patina with brownish-green encrustation, dia. 8 7/8 in. in good condition
