Gourd Carving, China, 19th\20th century, the raised central knob finely incised with a crane grasping a double peach sprig in its beak above rolling waves and encircled by clouds, the deeply lobed sides each decorated with one of the Eight Taoist Emblems, with a foo lion and a stylized dragon on each end, the knotted stem entirely incised with bats, peaches, and ruyi motifs on textured ground, with a miniature gourd tucked in the knot and marked kangxi xiang wan , jade bead finial with tassels, ht. 15 1/2 in. in good condition
