Pair of Famille Rose Wall Vases, China, 20th century, flattened baluster form, painted with mirrored scenes within gilt border, depicting an old man holding a staff beneath a pine tree with his attendant carrying a basket of flowers on his back, surrounded by blossoms, gourds, and scrolling foliage on yellow ground, shoulders with monster-mask handles and mock loose rings, gilt flared rim bordered by ruyi motifs, the half-moon foot rim decorated with leiwen band, iron-red six-character Qianlong mark on recessed base, ht. 4 3/4 in. in good condition
