Gorham Sterling Silver Loving Cup, Providence, Rhode Island, 1898, retailed by Theodore Starr, with three handles modeled as grotesque masks with ram horns, body with scrolling vines, grapes, and pendant floral garlands, with three cartouches engraved to the center: "Christmas," "1898," and "ARENTUS," all on a flared shell-decorated foot, ht. 10 1/4 in., approx. 83.6 troy oz. In very good condition throughout with light even usage wear.
