Continental Fruitwood Commode, early 19th century, the rectangular top with molded edge, over conforming case fitted with three long drawers flanked by fluted stiles, on square tapered feet ending in casters, with brass lion's head pulls and shield-shaped key escutcheons, ht. 32 3/8, wd. 46 1/2, dp. 23 3/4 in. Pulls not original. One key escutcheon off but present, one loose. Second drawer with lock removed and wood patch. Worming. Bleaching to back left section of top. Shrinkage cracks. Refinished. Legs with repairs and/or not original. Lacking key.
